Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Huelix, including the website, the color decoder, and any reports or other materials we provide (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Huelix (“Huelix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use Huelix

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. By using Huelix you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

2. Your account

Some features require an account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login secure. Where we offer passwordless or third-party sign-in, you are responsible for the email address or third-party account you use to access Huelix. Tell us promptly at support@huelix.co if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. The Service

Huelix analyzes color palettes you provide and produces reports describing how those colors are likely to read and perform. A free tier provides scores and verdicts; a paid report ($29 per report, unless otherwise stated at checkout) unlocks the full analysis, visuals, and recommendations. We may change, add, or remove features over time.

4. Purchases and payments

Paid reports are sold on a per-report basis. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are shown before purchase and may change, but changes do not affect a purchase already completed. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit reports as your own product;
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source, models, or underlying logic of the Service;
• interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and report formats, is owned by Huelix and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the color values and brand information you enter. We grant you a non-exclusive license to use the reports you purchase for your own business or personal branding purposes.

Reports may reference well-known brands by name to describe a color family, alongside our own rendered swatches. We do not reproduce third-party logos, imagery, or other brand assets, and such references do not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or partnership with those brands.

7. No professional advice

Huelix reports are informational and are provided for general guidance only. They are not professional design, branding, marketing, accessibility-compliance, or legal advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for a qualified professional. You are responsible for decisions you make based on a report.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Huelix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the report or service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Huelix harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for us or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located there, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you other rights.
